My mother sent this card to me -- it's a family joke. Back when I was about 6 years old (and for several years after), I wanted to be Wonder Woman when I grew up and my mother made me an amazing costume just like hers for Halloween. I know my sisters will giggle when they see this!

Does anyone know where I can find an invisible jet or some shiny red boots?

We're in!!!

After taking the kids to their classrooms today, I stopped by administration and learned the most wonderful news. Both children made it into Kindergarten for next year!!! While conveying this, though, the director was almost in tears as she shared that eleven of the currently enrolled children who have attended Bethany since toddler-hood did not make it. Also, even though I was first in line at the post office on the day to mail in our registration forms, our packet did not arrive until a day after the first batch. How??? Clearly this is all in God's hands.

I'll be saying some thankful prayers today! Hallelujiah!

Cruisin!

Jack took Mary and his friend Ethan Jones for a ride in the Jones family's battery-powered Jeep this afternoon. There were a few heart-stopping moments of near collisions, but all in all it was super fun!

Crayon Creations

Two new crayon creations created just this evening after dinner! Mary's has the word "Mimi" writte on the top right, as she created this particular masterpiece just for her dear Mimi. Jack's is a depiction of when our dog Sadie recently got out of the gate and hid under a neighbor's house (long story but she did get home finally). Enjoy!
