Our son, Jack, has a huge sense of humor and he delights in making others laugh. Yesterday he was so full of himself! Two funnies:
1) Words I've never spoken before: "Oh, no, Jack. That's not a surfboard, Honey, that's an ironing board." Clearly, I don't like to iron very often and he was so cute in telling me that he loved my new surfboard.
2) As we were in the pool with some visiting cousins, Jack got a hold of Mary's Ariel the Mermaid pool toy (a lovely birthday gift). He raised her hand straight up into the air and said "Hey, Mac!" To understand why this is so adorable, you must know that my deceased father was Mac and our favorite picture of him shows him with his arm straight in the air waiving -- and we always say "Hey, Mac" to it. Tears!
